 Meet Your Pilot: Ted Waltman

Ted began flying at the age of 15 and has had a lifelong passion for aviation. A 1978 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Ted served as a computer systems engineer in the Air Force before founding and later selling a successful software consulting firm.

His flying résumé includes time as a bush pilot in Alaska for Wrangell Mountain Air and, more recently, flying for Dierick’s Tsiu River Lodge, a premier salmon fishing resort near Yakutat, Alaska.

Now retired, Ted and his wife Jean relocated to Cedaredge in 2021, where he continues to share his love of flight with others.
