"Fibonacci on Jupiter"
This piece takes inspiration from the Fibonacci spiral—a mathematical ratio found throughout nature and in many everyday objects. Also known as the Golden Ratio, this proportion has been used in the design of countless innovations, including smartphones, architecture, and works of art.
This large-scale wall art would make a stunning focal point in a public space or a private home, blending mathematical elegance with natural beauty and craftsmanship. The artist, Curtis Babbitt, was commissioned by Jane Ingleman and Hal Jordan to make it. They have generously donated it to GMAEC and the Jingle Mingle Auction as they have recently downsized their home. They would love for it to find a home where it will be enjoyed by many.
This piece must be seen in person to be truly appreciated. It is not at GMAEC due to its size. A showing is available upon request.
