Don’t miss this unique opportunity to have a character named after you or someone you love or honor in one of two future novels by award-winning author D.P. Benjamin. The author will also mention you in his acknowledgments and you will receive three autographed copies of the novel.
Benjamin’s Four Corners Mystery Series follows the adventures of a contemporary husband and wife detective team as they solve cases set in Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah. His latest mystery, The War Nickel Murders, was published in 2025. His forthcoming mystery, Rare Earth, will conclude the series. It is set for publication in March 2027.
His Great Land Fantasy Series chronicles the life and times of Princess Anne of Middlemount, a wolfkind warrior. His debut fantasy, Stone Bride, was published in 2022. The long-awaited sequel, Iron Angel, will appear in June 2027.
Those bidding to have their name included must choose to be mentioned in either the mystery novel or the fantasy. The highest bidder in each category will win the opportunity. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Grand Mesa Arts & Events Center.
Here’s a chance to have your name in a forthcoming mystery novel that brings the Four Corners area to life. Or to appear as a character in an epic fantasy adventure.
A few rules and conditions:
The author reserves the right to use your name as he sees fit. He promises not to make you a villain, although you might end up dead in the book. He reserves the right to reject any name he may deem inappropriate, offensive, or ill-intentioned.
This auction is for the name only. The winning bidder does not have any role in helping determine the storyline, the character’s personality, or physical description. That’s all up to the author.
Participation in the name auction acknowledges that you understand and agree to these rules and conditions.
Good luck!
